Making stellar wine is the sole focus at Bodega Septima, a pristine winery situated in the acclaimed Mendoza winemaking district of Argentina.
Founded in 1999, the winery was the seventh (in Spanish “septima”) winery introduced by the Codorníu Group, known for its world-famous cava and still wines from Spain and Napa Valley. Imported exclusively by Aveníu Brands, Septima produces authentic wines that are modern, with a nod to tradition.

Septima Gran Reserva
Septima Gran Reserva is made with grapes grown in the upper region of the Mendoza River and the Uco Valleys from 3 vineyards planted between 2,800 and 3,600 feet above sea level. The grapes were harvested by hand and macerated at very low temperatures for three days. Traditional fermentation took place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wines that were blended for this Gran Reserva were aged separately in French and American oak barrels for 12 months. Elegant and balanced it pairs well with red grilled meat, chicken, stews, lamb, pasta and rice dishes.

Hand harvested in the cool morning hours, the Tempranillo fruit is crushed and placed in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Tempranillo’s fruity character makes it perfect for accompanying roasted, baked, fried marinated chicken. More traditional cuisine would include cold cuts, bacon, pancetta and prosciutto.

Septima Syrah
Septima Syrah is a wine with a lot of personality. It is estate grown and produced with its varietal character in mind. The sweet tannins of this wine pair well with roast beef, steak and hamburger. Rack of lamb and pork spare ribs also match nicely with this easy to drink red wine.
